Delivery Arrangements (for local buyers)

• Sale-II section is assigned with the task of receiving orders, issue bills and supply of books after securing them from the store. Smaller sales depots at different locations like one at Kitab Mahal, Supreme Court and Delhi High Court to cater to the needs of General Public.
• Outstation demand for books are executed by post, rail and road transport.
• Sales Depots are functional in Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata to cater the need of book lovers in these regions.
• Authorized Agents are appointed regularly in the States on the prevalent Book Trade Terms & Conditions on the basis of work performance.
• Dispatch expenses of books are generally borne by the department in accordance with the Government’s Postal Rules.
